The Medicine Buddha Dharani is the heart mantra of Bhaiṣajyaguru, the Buddha of Healing, who made twelve great vows to relieve beings of sickness, poverty and ignorance. It is recited for the healing of body and mind, for the sick, and for peace and well-being of the family.
