观世音菩萨普门品
The Universal Gate chapter of the Lotus Sutra describes how Avalokiteśvara (Guanyin) Bodhisattva hears the cries of the world and appears in whatever form is needed to rescue beings from danger, fire, water, demons and fear. It is the most beloved chapter of the Lotus Sutra and the foundation of devotion to Guanyin across East Asia.
